Hara Bhara Kebab


Ingredients:

Spinach - 1 bunch ( blanched ) 
peas - 1 and a half cup ( boiled)
potato - 1 (boiled)
Green chillies - 3
ginger - 1"
chaat masala - 1 tsp
garam masala pwd. - 1 tsp
breadcrumbs -  2-3 tbsp.'s to bind the mix
1 cup breadcrumbs - to coat
salt - to taste 

Method:

  • First step is to boil the spinach.This is my method of boiling spinach, you can follow your own. I wash it nicely with vinegar and water. rinse thoroughly and boil with just 1 tbsp. of water. keep the gas on high just for 5 minutes and leave it partially covered until cool.

  • For the peas. First take a tbsp. of oil. Add ginger and green chillies. Fry for a minute and add peas. Cover and keep for 5 minutes. I use frozen ones, so it takes very little time.  
  • Boil potatoes in the microwave or whatever suits you.
  • Grind the peas and spinach together in the mixer. Remove the mix, add boiled and mashed potatoes, add salt to taste, chaat masala, garam masala pwd. , breadcrumbs.  
  • Check if the mixture binds together into small balls. Shape into small disc's, coat it with breadcrumbs and shallow fry.
